Conjoined with the NESEA Building Energy Conference 2015, the 2015 Net-Zero North American Leadership Summit builds on the highly successful inaugural 2013 Summit. Nearly 200 industry leaders met to share information and map the future of the burgeoning net-zero energy movement.

In keeping with the Net Zero Energy Coalition’s collaborative mission, we are joining forces with the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) to offer the Summit in March 2015 as a conjoined event with their acclaimed annual BuildingEnergy conference. NESEA is a robust regional organization with an active interest in supporting zero net energy practices, including its annual $10,000 Zero Net Energy Building Award, and an very popular online BuildingEnergy Masters Series course, Zero Net Energy Homes. NESEA’s BuildingEnergy conference attracts 3,000 attendees from across the eastern United States and Canada, and offers a treasure trove of technical insights directly relevant to the Net-Zero Energy Coalition audience.

The goal of the 2015 Summit, as it was in 2013, is to bring together net-zero innovators in energy efficient technology, builders, developers, designers, product companies, utilities, and public agencies to continue identifying and pursuing opportunities to collaborate and combine efforts across North America to accelerate the market adoption of net-zero at the community scale.

Through an interactive exchange of ideas, the Summit will explore best practices, lessons learned, and successes. The 2015 Summit is structured around the key focus areas identified at the 2013 Summit: Policy, the Grid, Driving Demand, Finance & Real Estate, Education & Collaboration, and Products & Technologies.

The paired Summit and Building Energy programs represent an exceptional opportunity for a meeting of the minds between the two overlapping and complementary groups of innovative practitioners.

We are currently seeking net-zero energy leaders to sponsor the Summit and gain visibility with this cutting-edge group.
